Welcome to Cordova Psychiatric
Established in 2004, we are a psychiatric clinic that offers general psychiatric services for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics for various conditions. We offer a wide range of services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, Ketamine therapy, Telehealth services, and more. Our mission is to improve the health of our community by providing compassionate and consistent care, one patient at a time.
Depression
feelings of severe despondency and dejection, negatively affecting how you feel, the way you think and how you act
Mood Disorders
characterized by the elevation or lowering of a person’s mood, such as depression or bipolar disorder
Anxiety
a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome
ADD/ADHD
this may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and difficulty at school or work
Grief
the state of loss when someone close to you has died, and the period of sadness
PTSD
after a traumatic event, such as sexual assault, warfare, traffic collisions, or other threats on a person’s life

Mark received his Master of Science degree in nursing with a double major in family medicine and psychiatry from the University of Tennessee, Memphis in June 1999 and is certified through ANCC as an Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Brandi graduated with her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Memphis in 2013 and worked as an RN in the NICU at Regional One Health. She has worked at Serenity Recovery Center providing rehabilitative treatment services. She obtained her doctorate of nursing practice degree from the University of Tennessee in May 2020. She is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.
Renee Mathis is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Her nursing career specialized in critical care nursing for fifteen years, followed by seven years as a psychiatric registered nurse with a Masters Degree in Nursing specializing in Psychiatry. Renee offers a unique and diversified plethora of psychiatric expertise and life experience. Renee continues to enhance her knowledge of psychiatry and life by committing herself to lifelong learning.
